Cho, who had enjoyed a gentle introduction, forced Sorensen to tip over his 19^th-minute 30-yard shot at full stretch but Korean’s second effort from the resulting corner was embarrassingly high.

The experiement with "this korean lad" was a very worthwhile gamble and after picking up a nasty injury after getting to Wigan, he was more than warranted a shot today and I think apart from a few loose passes he was one of our best players out there. It's a shame he only had 60 minutes in his legs. Don't forget that screamer of a shot he hit.

이 한국선수를 기용한 시험은 아주 의미있는 시도였어. 위건 중요선수의 난처한 부상으로 인해, 조원희가 나와서 슛 말고도 여러 몫을 했냈고, 한두번의 느슨한 패스 말고는 우리 팀 선수 중 최고였어. 60분만 뛰었다는게 유감스러웠지. 그 대포알 같은 슛 잊지 말자.

i didn't say the korean lad had a bad game.. it was a brilliant shot but his distribultion was poor. i meant that i don't think he would have been picked if we needed the points and also having chosen to throw him in, he should have replaced brown or cattermole and played a RW, (i would have played zorro) as it was obvious we lacked width on the right with catt there.

이 한국선수가 안좋은 활약을 했다고 말하지 않았어. 그 슛은 눈에 확 띄었지만, 그의 볼 배급은 별로였어. 내 말은 우리가 승점을 따내려고 했었다면 그가 나오지 않았을거란 말이지. 브라운이나 케터몰 대신 나왔어야 했고, 케터몰이 라이트 윙으로 뛰니까 폭 넓게 경기가 되지 않았지(나라면 조로를 뛰게 했을거야).

Sounds like a familiar story, Wigan on top, playing all the nice football and having the chacnes, but cannot score. Sorensons made a great save apparently. Think we can all remember Sorensons performance at the JJB, which was one of the greatest goalkeeping performances witnessed at the JJB.

많이 듣던 소리네. 위건이 더 좋은 경기를 하고, 기회도 더 많이 얻었지만, 골을 못 넣었다. 소렌센은 정말 대단한 선방을 했지. JJB에서도 최고의 선방을 보여줬던 골키퍼 소렌센을 생생히 기억하는데.

 

 

리버풀 리저브팀과의 경기 후 어려운 재활을 거쳐 드디어 2달 여만에 빅리그 데뷔전을 했군요. 신들린 소렌센의 선방 때문에 골은 못 넣었지만, 멋진 데뷔전 축하!!
